Overview
Blackstone Cultural Council
The purpose of the Blackstone Cultural Council Is to Support Local Public Programs That Promote Access, Education, Diversity, and Excellence in the Arts, Humanities, and Interpretive Sciences in Blackstone. Preference Will Be Given to Blackstone Performances, Events, Artists, and Organizations Based in Blackstone.
The BCC Awards Grants with Applications Due on October 15 Annually. Successful Proposals Will Demonstrate a Clear Benefit to Blackstone Residents for Programs or Projects That Take Place in and/or Are Specifically Related to the Culture and History of Blackstone.
Eligible Applicants Include Organizations That Plan Public Events, Artists or Performers, Schools (for Field Trips to Cultural Events or to Bring in Performers) Via the Pass Program, and Religious Organizations, as long as the Program Is Mainly Cultural in Nature.
