Fee Schedule
Smoke Detector Inspection(SDI) and Carbon Monoxide(CO) Detector Inspections: $25 single family residence
Multifamily SDI/CO Inspections: $25 per Unit(Apartment)
(additional $25 for common hallway or shared egress)
Oil Burner Inspection: $25
Propane Tank Inspections: $25/ Tank
Oil Tank Removal: $25/ Tank
Applications for inspections can be downloaded at the Massachusetts Department of Fire Sciences website.
Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector Inspection applications can only be acquired at the Blackstone Fire Department.
For more information or to schedule an inspection, call 508-883-1030 during business hours of Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm.
Detectors need to be less than 10 years old in order to pass a smoke and CO detector inspection.
