MedReturn Drop-Off

The Blackstone Police Department has installed a MedReturn drop-box in the lobby of the police station at 15 Street Paul Street. The box is available 24/7/365 and provides an anonymous was for residents to dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs. Accepted items for safe disposal include prescriptions, prescription patches, prescription medications, prescription ointments, over-the-counter medications, vitamins, medication samples and medications for pets.

Items that cannot be accepted include:

• Needles (sharps)
• Thermometers
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Inhalers
• Aerosol cans
• Medication from businesses or clinics
• Over-the-counter ointments, lotions and liquids
