A representative of Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter will contact you within 3 days of receipt of your application. Please be aware that other applications may have already been submitted and/or approved for the pet(s) you're applying to adopt. Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter updates its website as frequently as possible, adding newly rescued pets and removing pets that have been successfully re-homed. If the pet you're applying for has been adopted, a representative from Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter will work with you to find a pet that will be a Pawfect Fit for you or your family! If Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter believes a specific pet will not be a good fit for you or your family a representative will discuss that with you. Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter reserves the right to perform a home inspection prior to adoption. If your application is approved, a "meet and greet" will be scheduled so that you/your family can meet and interact with the Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter Pet. If you currently have a dog(s) Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter asks that your dog(s) accompany you to meet with any dog(s) you're looking to adopt from the shelter. The location of this "meet and greet" is chosen at the discretion of a Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter representative. The applicant hereby releases and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Blackstone Regional Animal Shelter and any volunteer or agent thereof against any and all liability, including any costs and reasonable attorney fees, to third parties or to applicant or those accompanying applicant that may occur during the meet and greet, whether that be in a public place or a private home.
