THE BLACKSTONE FIRE DEPARTMENT USES THE SMART911 SYSTEM TO ASSIST EMS AND FIRE PERSONNEL WITH THEIR EVERYDAY EMERGENCIES. RESIDENTS ARE ABLE TO SIGN UP AND PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT COULD BE USED IN FUTURE EMERGENCIES, SUCH AS FOR A MISSING CHILD OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT PARAMEDICS WOULD NEED TO KNOW IN CARING FOR A SEVERELY SICK PATIENT.
