Excise tax bills are due thirty (30) days from the date issued.
If you no longer have the vehicle listed on the bill, you may be entitled to an abatement. To file for an excise abatement, you must provide the Assessors Office with a complete abatement application packet. These forms can be brought into our office, mailed, or faxed to our listed number.
Please Note: You are not entitled to an abatement just by plate cancellation or transfer. You must provide the Assessors Office with all required forms and requested documentation.
