The hauler has informed the Town that due to an unexpected mechanical issue, the trash truck servicing Thursday's route broke down earlier today and could not be repaired on site.
Unfortunately, approximately 1.5 hours of the Thursday route remain uncollected and they are unable to dispatch a second truck today.
Trash collection will resume tomorrow morning, starting with the remaining stops on the Thursday route. Once completed, the crew will proceed directly to Friday’s scheduled pickups. All missed pickups from today, as well as the regular Friday route, will be completed by the end of the day tomorrow.
The Town apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates residents' patience and understanding.
