Please be advised that water main flushing will take place today, which may cause temporary water discoloration and reduced water pressure. If you notice discoloration, simply run your cold-water tap. The discoloration is temporary and typically clears up within 4-5 hours.
Before using water, especially for laundry, we recommend checking the water quality. If any rust stains appear on clothing or fixtures, you can obtain an iron-removing detergent free of charge from the DPW office on Elm Street. Please DO NOT use bleach, as this will permanently set the stain.
