The Department of Public Works advises residents that Bridge Street (Canal Street) will be closed to all traffic on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM to allow for the installation of bridge joints following the recent roadway paving.
To complete this work safely and efficiently, the section of Bridge Street between Main Street and St. Paul Street will be fully closed for the duration of the day. Detours will be in place, and drivers are asked to plan accordingly and seek alternate routes.
Access to the Greenway/Bike Path parking area will remain available via St. Paul Street.
