Public Works crews are investigating a water main break on David Drive. Residents in the areas of David Drive, Dorena Drive, King Street & Upper Rathbun Street may experience temporary water discoloration, reduced pressure or water interruptions in the area while the leak is investigated and repairs are made.
The water remains safe to drink, despite any discoloration. If your water appears discolored, run the cold-water tap until it clears. Discoloration is temporary. Residents are advised to check their water before use, particularly before doing laundry. Do not use bleach on stained clothing, as this will set the stain permanently. If rust stains appear, an iron-removing detergent is available free of charge at the DPW office on Elm Street.
