Parks & Recreation
Mission
Our mission is to enrich the lives of the residents of the Town of Blackstone by providing safe and welcoming parks and recreation facilities, community activities, and events for people of all ages and abilities. We will maintain and seek land and facilities for active and passive recreation purposes as we encourage town wide interactions that provide opportunities for all to learn, play, exercise, celebrate, or enjoy open space.
Overview
The Parks and Recreation Commission is focused on bringing community events to the residents of Blackstone. Our focus is engaging residents with fun and creative social events that will help build a real sense of Community! We have yearly events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Fourth at the Farm, Water Balloon Wars, Fall Festival, Veterans Day Breakfast, and Hometown Christmas Celebration followed by the Santa Parade.
